SDU!
SDU is a series of 10 classes from beginning to punch and layout design classes that you will complete. We will teach 2 classes weekly for a rotation of 5 weeks, so hopefully you'll find a time compatible with your schedule. For all who complete all 10 classes there will be a graduation party and you will receive your diploma from EK Success.  Check out the calendar for the next series to begin.  

Scrapbook Basics - Learn the basics of scrapbooking.

Tools of the Trade -  Come learn how these time saving tools work before you invest in them. (

Journaling -  Pictures can not tell the story alone.  This class will assist in completing pages with journaling.

Color - A working knowledge of color is a must for every scrapbooker.  You will learn color theory as it pertains to designing scrapbook pages.

Layout Design -Learn the principles of design structure that will help you create strong layouts.

Matting - One of the most spectacular techniques for making photos stand out.  Learn how mats can help you correct cropping mistakes.

Stickers-Learn techniques that will get your stickers out of your collections & onto your pages., and learn to "pop-up" your stickers.

Lettering - Lettering in your scrapbook should be fun.  Learn how to relax & enjoy writing in your scrapbook.

Titles-The title is a critical element in layout design.  Learn how to design spectacular titles that will make amazing presentations on your scrapbook pages

Punches - Learn how to maintain your punches, adhere punched pieces, build shapes into images, & create punch scenes.

SDU Methods Classes Now Available! Methods classes cost $20 each. Class size is limited to 10 people and you must complete the first 10 SDU classes to attend Methods classes.

Embellishment Savvy- Learn how to embellish your pages with flair! This SDU Methods class will build on what you've learned in the first ten SDU classes, and give you the confidence to use any embellishment on any page. We will be using Phrase cafe stickers, button-ups, pop up dots, etc. You will like these additions to your pages.

Patterned Paper-Learn how to use patterned paper successfully on your pages. This SDU Methods class will build on what you've learned in the first ten SDU classes, and give you the confidence to mix and match patterns so that they enhance your photos, not overwhelm them! Be ready to learn how to use those gorgeous vellums you see on the shelves.

Shabby Chic - Advance your scrapbooking techniques with this all new SDU methods class. You will learn the art of distressing using sandpaper and ink on lovely Laura Ashley paper. For SDU graduates only. Bring your class kit and inks.  Cost $20.00.

Advanced Punching is here! You will learn how to get the most out of your Paper Shapers punches using exciting punch techniques featuring the Corner Adorner styles.  You will complete 5 different projects including a mini book and a mini book using frames made with punches for certain Mickey characters. Cost $20.00.
